                                     Our Philosophy of Music Education

The goal of  instrumental instruction is to provide a solid foundation in the fundamentals of the instrument; at the same time, each teacher strives to provide a focus for the student that enhances his/her joy of music.  Our teaching programs are comprised of specially developed materials prepared for the individual student's abilities and preferences.  Emphasis is placed on originality, self-expression, and the maintenance of both a positive attitude and long-term involvement in the musical arts.
